Hainault Forest Country Park - Sunday 2nd June 2013.

Are kiters ever happy with the wind conditions? No!

Despite the changing winds we managed to display a range of kites throughout the day as the pictures below show. Courtney once again produced yet another new kite, this time..  and for a change.. it was a Rokkaku printed (by KitesUp) with a picture he had taken at last summers (2012) Paralympics. Meanwhile Ernie was left hanging on the line of his latest creation  - a traditional good old BT telephone box. Mark finished the graphics work on the clubs shelter and all agreed it's looking good - but you'll have to wait a week for pictures or go  and see it at the Peterborough Kite Festival next weekend.
Keith must have clocked up the most air miles having 2 kites aloft all day, the clubs FlowForm raised Ernie's frog and parrot collection which attracted a fair bit of attention and  Courtney showed off his pair of fish. In between these John F and myself flew Revolution 4 line kites when the winds were agreeable, John (2) flew a delta, Vernon a 3do and Colin  an airfoil (not pictured - sorry!). Mid afternoon Ernie progressed up to a noisy 2 line stunt kite and later Courtney aired his stack of 6 kites but unfortunately a breakage halted play.
A nice day out to a popular country park, not as hot as forecast, winds were variable, lots of goose poo :-(
